Invernahavon and Glentruim

Centre Stone of Scotland and walks direct from the Caravan Park

Glentruim marks the exact geographical centre of Scotland. Follow the Glentruim road (exit campsite and take a right up the hill) and you will find the Centre Stone along with wonderful views. You can continue into the wood, where there are signposted walks.  The Viewpoint is highly recommended, it’s a short walk up a small hill with breath-taking views at the top.

You can also walk down to the River Spey from the Park, exit at the back of the Park, along the stone dyke wall which follows the River Truim and veer left once it meets the River Spey. You can walk all the way round to meet the Glentruim road.  Please keep dogs on a leash around sheep and cows and Glentruim Castle grounds should not be entered - thank you.

More information on local walks can be found by visiting Laggan Paths & Newtonmore Paths.
